Academic Team

The academic team of the Center is a group of well-qualified researchers with Master and Ph. D degrees; We have six full-time instructors and four consultant teachers, 40% of them are Ph. D holders

Full-time Staff:
It’s a group of young, passionate and energetic professionals with practical developing experience and sound technical knowledge. All the instructors have participated in IBM mainframe trainings, and have passed IBM technical certifications. Each of them has specialty area and is qualified for teaching on different courses such as Mainframe Operating System and application development, Mainframe Database, DB2 Management and development, CICS application development, Banking System Applications, etc..

Consultant teachers:
The center regularly invites mainframe experts from IBM, professors from international universities, and instructors from research institutes for lectures, presentations, and workshops. Including:

Prof. Xiaoping Huang

Senior Engineer of Information Technology Department in Agricultural Bank of China. He is a special employed expert of IBM University Program. He has been working on mainframe for 30 years, with a number of publications.

Dr. Muyue Xiao

Information technology expert, IEEE fellow, IBM fellow. Since joined IBM computer development department in 1960, he has invented 46 patents, delivered many technical papers and published a number of books.

Jack Jones

Joined IBM in 1977. Jack is an IBM "certified" IT Specialist, a member of the IBM S/390 Software Design Council, and a member of IBM’s zSeries Business Leadership Council. Jack is also a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) from the globally recognized organization, (ISC).
