Lei Zhang received the B.Sc. degree in 1995 from Shenyang Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, the M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in Control Theory and Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, China, respectively in 1998 and 2001. From Jan. 2003 to Jan. 2006 he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, McMaster University, Canada. In 2006, he joined the Dept. of Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where now he is an Associate Professor. His research interests include Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Image and Video Processing, and Biometrics, etc. Dr. Zhang has published more than 200 papers in those areas. By 2015, his publications have been cited more than 12,000 times in literature. Dr. Zhang is currently an Associate Editor of IEEE Trans. on Image Processing, IEEE Trans. on CSVT and Image and Vision Computing.
Daniel Xiapu Luo received both of his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Wuhan University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and then spent two years at the Georgia Tech Information Security Center as a post-doctoral research fellow. He is currently a research assistant professor at Dept. Computing, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His current research interests include Smartphone security and privacy, Network and System Security, Internet Measurement, Cloud Computing, and Mobile Networks. He and his group members built practical systems, published academic papers in well-known venues, such as NDSS, USENIX ATC, ACM CoNEXT, ACM IMC, TIFS, TDSC, etc., and applied for patents (they already have two US patents and several are under application).
Man Ho Allen Au received B.S. and M.S degrees from Chinese University of Hong Kong, in 2003 and 2005 respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Wollongong, Australia, in 2009. Currently, he is an assistant professor at Dept. of Computing, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Dr. Au’s research interests include Information Security and Privacy, Applied Cryptography, Accountable Anonymity and Cloud Computing. He has published over 80 papers in those areas in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, ACM Transaction on Information and System Security and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology and international conferences including the Network and Distributed System Security Symposium (NDSS) and the ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS). He is an associate editor of the Journal of Information Security and Applications, Elsevier.
