Abstract:
Petrochemical industry is a pillar industry in Guangdong province and even in China. Safety production is a problem that the petrochemical industry has been paying attention to for a long time. With the rapid development of the IoT and crowdsourcing technology, traditional petrochemical industry is also gradually exploring various new applications relying on the emerging IoT technology. In this presentation, we will first introduce the research situation of Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Petrochemical Equipment Fault Diagnosis, afterwards we will talk about the safety problems in the petrochemical industry production, and further introduce a series of new applications researched and developed by Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Petrochemical Equipment Fault Diagnosis, such as Toxic Gas Map and Noise Map. After these introductions, we will further interpret the scientific research problems behind those new applications.
