Abstract:
Services Systems (SS) are applications that provide "big services", i.e. business services provided by orchestrating a wide range of services. An example is Uber App. The distinctive aspects of SSs are mobile computing, the usage of Internet data (e.g. social networks) and services (e.g. maps), the business value given to the users and service stakeholders. I first outline these characteristics, then I present some case studies on state of art issues, as collaboration systems and indoor mobility.
